The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is a permanent body which task is to ensure that teaching and educational activities meet the development and interests of children and to co-operate in this direction with the staff of the child care institution.
Functions of the Board of Trustees
1. General Provisions
1.1. The Board of Trustees is a permanent body whose functions include monitoring the compliance of teaching and educational work with the development and interests of children and the implementation of appropriate cooperation with the staff of the children's institution.
1.2. The Board of Trustees in its activities is guided by the "Law on Preschool Institutions", other legal acts on education, decisions of rural municipality and city governments, the statute on the child care institution and this statute.
2. Composition of the Board of Trustees and the procedure for its formation
2.1. At the beginning of the school year, the parents of the children of each group of the childcare institution elect their representative to the board of trustees, in addition to this, the rural municipality or city council appoints one representative to the board of trustees, who oversees the compliance of the activities of the childcare institution with the interests of the rural municipality and city. The head submits the composition of the board of trustees for approval to the city administration within one month, counting from the beginning of the academic year.
2.2. The board of trustees develops its own regulations on the board on the basis of the "Law on preschool institutions".
2.3. In order to organize its work, the Board of Trustees elects a chairman and his deputy from among its members.
3. Tasks and competence of the board of trustees
3.1. The Board of Trustees hears a report from the head of the educational, educational, economic activities.
3.2. Gives the head and the city government recommendations on budgeting and the rational use of budgetary funds of the child care institution.
3.3. Submits proposals to the head and the city government to ensure a favorable environment for the development of children.
3.4. Participates through its representatives in the work of the commission for organizing the competition for the vacant position of the head.
3.5. Decides on the cost of meals for children per day.
3.6. Organizes and provides assistance to the childcare institution for the care and repair of the building, premises and equipment of the childcare institution.
3.7. Submits proposals to the city government to increase the number of children in a group by no more than 4, and in groups of different ages by no more than two children.
3.8. Submits proposals to the head of the preschool educational institution on the formation of groups of different ages at the request of the parents.
4. Rights of the Board of Trustees
4.1. He listens to the head of the report on teaching and educational work and economic activities.
4.2. Has the right to receive information necessary for his work from the head and the rural municipality or city council.
5. Procedure for the work of the board of trustees
5.1. The form of work of the board of trustees is a meeting, which is held at least once a quarter at the suggestion of the chairman of the board of trustees, the head.
5.2. Extraordinary meetings of the board of trustees are convened at the suggestion of the chairman or head of the preschool institution.
5.3. A meeting of the board of trustees is valid if at least 50% of the board members are present.
5.4. The head of the children's school takes part in the meetings of the board of trustees. Meetings may be attended by other education officials with the permission of the chairman.
5.5. The chairman of the board of trustees is responsible for preparing questions for the meeting of the board of trustees and for preliminary acquaintance with the materials of the board members.
5.6. The decision is taken by a simple majority vote. If the number is equal, the chairman has a casting vote.
5.7. Meetings of the board of trustees are recorded and the minutes, along with other working materials, are stored in the preschool educational institution on a general basis with other documents of the preschool educational institution.
5.8. Disputes are settled by the city government, which created the board of trustees and its decision is final.
5.9. The Board of Trustees reports to the parent meeting once a year.
